Nice, that’s an impressive list to be included in.

Shows how dominant the Broncos once were…

In ten years while playing in the WAC conference the broncos only lost 1 game on the blue.

Wow, I know we got a lot of false starts, but to be number one the past six seasons is very very impressive. Crowd takes pride in that

I honestly think we could have been ranked higher.

You knew things were slipping when we started losing at home on a semi regular basis, particularly the three years under Avalos.

Avalos was a disaster. Only GJ championed him.

I’ll confess I thought he was a good hire and I was dead wrong.

It's about right, I would say, given the program's slippage at home. I am bullish, though, about the Broncos fortunes in the future.

Nice try, but like many others we heard about and even saw an early positive culture change. Almost everyone hoped he'd succeed, and some understood it was a very difficult transition for the whole sport. Just a little humility on the part of fans knowing their limits.

Besides, I never championed Andy like you did soon after his hiring. I wasn't the one starting threads on who replaces him after he gets hired away.

Almost everyone did. The whole Plough-Hank thing was hard to sort through. In the end, AA simply failed as a HC. Some good colonels don't make good generals. Some VPs fail at CEO.

Rice Eccles shouldn't be on there and we should be higher but otherwise not a bad list.

I was wondering about Rice-Eccles being on there too, but after looking it up, Utah doesn’t lose at home. They had an impressive 18 game home winning streak recently.

Sometimes I so wish we would/did bring back screenshots. The topics are still there if you scroll back far enough. Would be good I think for some people to be reminded of what they said.

I was a supporter of Andy all the way until the Colorado State disaster. I knew it was time for him to go after that.

I wanted so badly for him to do well. Just couldn’t quite turn the corner of average. I was ready for him to go after the CSU crap too. Up 21-0 on UCF, lose. Up late at home against UCF, lose. Oklahoma State, should’ve been a win. Memphis last year? 17-0 lead….Horrible. The kickoff return by fresno at half? PULLING MY HAIR OUT! Losing to Nevada at home? Yuck! BYU loss 2022? Bite me! Sooooo many close ones he should’ve won. Then there is UW and Oregon State…we got throttled! Struggling against ND (FCS) until that turnover in the red zone before half. We just haven’t been great. Good, yes. Great, not even close.

Agree with everything you said. For me, the Colorado State disaster was probably the worst display of head coaching I’ve seen at Boise State in my four and a half decades of being a fan. The 2010 Nevada loss really hurt but the Wolf Pack were a good team that year. The 2023 Colorado State loss was simply humiliating.
