Does Pathé take cash? ›

You receive the tickets by email. You can also use your Mijn Pathé account to make a booking via the Website if you want to pay in cash, individually or with a Filmdiner or other voucher.

That means that if you go to the movies more than once a month (as you should), then the pass is worth it. It roughly evens out to a movie ticket and a half and can be used as frequently as you like. It's a (not so) hidden gem in the Netherlands that makes regular movie-going an affordable pastime.

Pathé Amsterdam Noord is a multiplex cinema in Amsterdam-North on Buikslotermeerplein, right next to metro station Noord. The cinema was built for Euroscoop and was designed by Forum Architects.

Officially you're not allowed to bring in your own stuff, but when you take some small cookies or something without showing you'll most likely not get caught. Unless you bring big bottles of co*ke or a complete KFC menu with you of course.

With Pathé Unlimited you can see every movie again and again. For premium film experiences such as IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX and ScreenX, you pay a surcharge.

Just show up, pick a film and scan your Pass. Reservations are not possible for members just yet. Join the club, download your temporary pass and go see a great film near you tonight. Your membership will last for at least four months, after which you can cancel monthly.

Your pass number can be found below the barcode on your Cinevillepas. After completing the transaction, you will receive an e-ticket that you can activate until 5 minutes before the start of the screening.

History. EuroPalaces was formed in 2001 when the French film production and distribution companies Pathé and Gaumont merged their cinema operations, respectively owned by Jérôme Seydoux and Nicolas Seydoux.

Amsterdam cinema ticket prices are around €12-15. Supplements are charged for reservations, long films and 3D films. Weekends can be very busy so for popular movies it is advisable to reserve in advance either by phone, online or at the box office. Some cinemas chains also offer an unlimited monthly pass.

What does OV mean in movies? ›

OV (Original Version): This screening will have no changes whatsoever. No dubbing, no subtitles (unless they're part of the original film).* OmU (Original mit Untertiteln): Meaning 'original with subtitles', OmU films have the original audio* along with subtitles.

We encourage card payment where possible but we understand not everyone is able, or wishes, to pay via card. Each cinema has at least one till able to accept cash.

4.2 The Subscriber has to cancel the Subscription online by logging into “My Pathe” via www.pathe.nl/mijn/unlimited and click on “Cancel Subscription”. The Subscriber will receive confirmation of the cancellation by e-mail. The cancellation can of course be reversed by the Subscriber.
