Ways to Get Involved
Want to support O+ in other ways and be part of the magic that happens when art, music, and wellness merge? We are currently seeking volunteers to help in two ways:
- Provide housing for visiting artists and performers
- Sign up to work during the festival, happening October 11-13, 2024
Housing and festival volunteers play an integral role in moving the O+ mission forward and supporting the health and well-being of the Kingston community. Interested? Get more information and submit your application today!

In addition to the O+ Artist’s Clinic, we offer ExplO+re Wellness, a series of community-centered wellness programs that are available to the public.
At the first O+ Festival, a small group of wellness practitioners gave yoga classes and gong baths to the community. Since then, our wellness offerings have steadily grown to meet demand from the public and include things like:
- Cooking classes
- Group cycling events
- Meditation
- Sound healing
- Breathwork
- Movement and exercise classes
- Music classes
- Narcan and CPR training
ExplO+re includes wellness classes and activities presented by a wide range of practitioners across different modalities, with the goal of inspiring and empowering attendees to take good care of themselves as well as their communities. The casual and welcoming atmosphere of ExplO+re invites everyone to discover a wellness practice or gain new information to support mental and physical health and well-being.
A special thank you to WMCHealth for their ongoing support of ExplO+re programming.
The O+ Festival Wellness ExpO+ invites local healthcare providers, makers of wellness products, and community advocates to engage directly with the 3,500 – 4,500 attendees that converge in Kingston for the O+ Festival happening October 7-9, 2023.
This year we’re expanding upon that vision to spotlight ExpO+ as an afternoon street-fair moment with additional vendors, food, performances, family activities, wellness information, and more. Our goal is to connect folks to resources that support their wellness in a myriad of ways, from enhancing awareness to direct care, to information on youth services, mental health, delicious food, crafts, and more.
