How long does ifly experience last? ›

Including pre-flight briefing and post experience debrief, visitors will be in the iFly area for approx. 60 minutes. The actual time in the tunnel is equal to at least two full skydiving experiences.

It induces a feeling that is close to weightlessness! Or maybe, “Can you breathe while indoor skydiving?” Yes! There's plenty of air and it's self-serve. Another common question we get is, “Does indoor skydiving feel like a roller coaster?” Nope.

We replicate the skydiving experience and offer flights which are about 1½ times longer than a tandem jump. So each flight is around 60 seconds, often a bit longer but never shorter than 50 seconds. A double flight is about 120 seconds long.

The experience from start to finish was excellent. Flights are one minute and you can purchase a package. If you go and plan to fly once, don't do it, you will be disappointed.

Can you wear jeans for indoor skydiving? While we always advise you to dress for comfort, we also want to keep in mind that indoor skydiving is an active sport. Wearing clothing that is fitted and allows a full range of motion will be your best bet.

No, skydiving does not make your stomach drop. This article will go over why you shouldn't worry before taking that leap.

Please arrive comfortably dressed and bring a pair of well fitting lace-up trainers. Avoid collared shirts and any form of slip-on or Velcro footwear. If you're without lace up trainers, we have footwear for hire. If you have long hair, bring something to tie it up and maybe a hairbrush.

Even if you never decide to compete, you'll be harder, better, faster and stronger for the time you put into your tunnel flying… and–dare we say it–quite a bit cooler, too. What's the upshot? Well: Indoor skydiving is as hard as you want to make it–but that's part of the fun! Join us and accept the challenge.

How realistic is indoor skydiving? ›

In an indoor setting, you can successfully experience the sensation of freefall by flying your body on a column of air within the flight chamber. With indoor skydiving, the body flight mechanics are very similar to skydiving, but you miss out on quite a bit.

You're not just floating on a column of air … you're actively balancing your body by arching from the hips and distributing your arms and legs evenly. Two minutes of flight time may not sound very long, but the small muscles that you'll activate while flying are rarely utilized and will tire quickly.

Is Indoor Skydiving Scary? Nope! Obviously, everyone is different, and while the experience may be exciting and seem unapproachable at first, it isn't inherently frightening. The intimidation factor of indoor skydiving is much less than that of skydiving for real!

On an actual skydive, there are nothing but views: a big vast open world around you to explore. On a skydive, you see the world from an aerial view. You see boundless space—no walls around you, no barriers, just freedom. All in all, indoor skydiving is just a simulation, and most birds don't do well in cages.
